POLIMI Access for international users
Hi! If you are neither Italian nor an Edugain account holder (i.e. if you are not a student or member of staff at an institution that is part of Edugain interfederation service), this is the place for you!
POK is the Politecnico di Milano's institutional MOOC platform, so you should be able to access it with verified credentials, such as those from Politecnico.
So, you must create an account to attend our MOOCs! The process is not complex, but it does require several steps – about the same time it takes to bake a tray of cookies in the oven :-) . Let's start!
Please note that you will need to activate two-factor authentication (2FA) and have an app that manages OTP codes.
Create a POLIMI account
From POK login page click on Create a POLIMI Account. You will arrive on Politecnico di Milano access page in which you have to Sign up.
You will now pass through a series of pages where you will be asked to enter your personal data. Once you have finalised this step and settled your password, you will be assigned a Polimi Person code (an 8-digit number) immediately shown in the browser. This code will be also sent to you by email. Click on Continue and you will be redirect to POLIMI login.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
After entering your credentials, you will be asked to activate the 2FA. This adds an extra layer of security to your personal space, protecting you from fraudulent access if your Polimi credentials are stolen.
Scroll down the page and reach the 2FA Polimi section. Select the option Enable 2FA Polimi
Now you have to Download and install one of the Apps required to generate the OTP code. Follow the wizard to generate the OTP, then select Confirmation to complete the activation.
Once confirmed, you'll arrive on the following page with instructions on how disabling 2FA or configure it on other devices. Click on Go to Online Services to access your private area on POLIMI.

Enter a few more details and accept the privacy notice to access your dashboard!
Your dashboard it's empty! Now - it's time to fill it with your courses. Move to All Courses page to navigate all available courses and enroll.
To enroll, click on the MOOC title or image and then on Enrol me in this course.
